WINCHENDON, Mass. – Solid wood dining room furniture manufacturer Saloom Furniture has launched a newly redesigned website with increased search functionality and high-quality imagery at www.saloom.com.
A feature image, which rotates seasonally or as new products are launched, now introduces visitors to Saloom on the website. The left side navigation allows viewers to quickly navigate toward their desired product destination. A series of optional filters allow users to narrow their search by collection, style or design features. Each product has a unique landing page offering views from multiple angles as well as lifestyle imagery. In addition to images, information on dimensions, available custom options and quality features are included in easy to use drop-down menus.
In addition to the new streamlined website, Saloom has launched a user-friendly order-writing app for the company’s sales reps, design accounts and retail salespeople. Saloom worked closely with award winning design firm Gravity Switch of North Hampton, Mass., to achieve a clean, modern, and easy to navigate site. The sales ordering app, developed over 18 months with experts at AMPTAB Inc. in Seattle, takes the custom ordering process and makes it into a fast and accurate process that keeps pricing and the product catalogs at the salesperson’s fingertips.
The sales app is a tool designed with the retail sales person in mind, addressing the need for a way to quickly and accurately write an order without being encumbered by catalogs, pricelists, and lots of finish and fabric samples. The app, available on iPad or on desktop and laptop computers allows a sales person to find, customize, price and submit an order in a fraction of the time it previously took.
“We took the feedback from our customers seriously,” said Peter Saloom, president of Saloom Furniture Co. “It took a lot of consideration, professional guidance and work to get here, but we have arrived with two solutions that are really going to change the way customers and the public interact with Saloom.”
Saloom’s new website is currently live, and the sales ordering app is available to all current dealers of the line. Access to this app can be granted by emailing Tschofield@saloom.com or by clicking the Request AMPTAB Sales App Access button on the Dealer/Designer login page of the website.
